Programs and pathway
The school.
Three programs sized to the student in front of us, and one pathway that runs from a first class to owning a school of your own.
Ages 3 fully potty trained to 4
Mini Taekwon-Do
Classes designed for the smallest students in the room: 3 years old, fully potty trained, through 4. Short, structured, and built around the attention span of a preschooler learning to listen, focus, and move with control.
Ages 5 to 10
ITF Taekwon-Do Kids
Classes designed for 5 to 10 year olds. Patterns, sparring basics, and the discipline that carries off the mat, taught by instructors who have been through the same ranks themselves.
Ages 11 and up
ITF Taekwon-Do Teen and Adult
Classes designed for 11 and up. Full ITF curriculum for teenagers and grown-ups training side by side, beginners welcome at any age.
Competition classes
Train to compete.
Students who want to test themselves move into competition classes, training toward tournaments and championships alongside their regular program.
Where it leads
The five-level pathway.
Every student follows the same path. How far you go is up to you.
Effective student
Everyone starts here, learning under ITF instruction and discovering what the training asks of them.
Competitor
Students drawn to competition train toward national and, eventually, international tournaments.
Assistant instructor
Members learn to help head instructors run class and work hands on with newer students.
Head instructor
Those who choose the instructor path attend International Instructor Training Seminars.
School owner
For the select few for whom Taekwon-Do is a calling, the institute helps guide the way to a school of their own.
