Who runs the dojang
Meet Titus.
Thirteen years on the mat in Saint Johns, built by a family that never left.
Founder and head instructor
Titus Durojaiye
Titus grew up in Daytona Beach, Florida, and moved to Jacksonville in 1991. It was his grandmother, "Big Ma," who encouraged his parents to enroll him in martial arts. He started ITF Taekwon-Do training in 1993, at age 7, and never really stopped.
He has represented the United States five times at the ITF World Championship, medaled internationally, and taught in this community for over a decade. He credits Big Ma, his parents, his wife, and the Saint Johns community for the journey. His goal has stayed the same since he started: to be the nicest Grand Master anyone has ever met.

Krystal Durojaiye
Krystal is from Massachusetts. She moved to Jacksonville in 2012 to complete her nursing degree, and stayed to build the school alongside Titus. She runs the business side of Titus Taekwon-Do Institute, the part families see least and depend on most.
She and Titus have two children who grow up around the dojang, and around the students who have become an extension of the family.
The milestone
